Founded in 2001 Brocken Spectre is Scotland's most exciting new film and television drama production company developing and producing short films, feature films and television drama for national and international audiences.
The company has 4 feature films in various stages of financed development and is currently developing a slate of TV projects. The company has produced numerous short films two of which "Rank" (2001, David Yates) and "Kissing, Tickling and Being Bored" (2006, Jim McRoberts) have been nominated for the Bafta for Best Short Film. Most recently the UK Film Council / LSFF award winning film "Shell" by writer/director Scott Graham.
